This amazing trek captures the essence of Nepal with its remarkable rivers, magnificent vegetation and wild life.Why we love it ?Guest HouseMountain viewCampingHikingDiningItinerary Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival.Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Apoorva tours. We will drive you to your hotel and get you booked in so you can unwind from your travels, rest and relax. Later we will show you around the popular for tourist area that is the Thamel District where you will find all the services you require including restaurants, supermarkets ATM machines and money exchange facilities. ACCOMMODATIONLUNCH HOURSSIGNAL Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla By Flight(30 minutes & Trek to Phakding (3-4 hours).Early today morning we will be driven to Kathmandu airport for our flight to Lukla. Landing at Lukla airport is a memorable experience in itself. The 30 minute flight offers outstandingly beautiful views of the middle hills and mountains of Nepal. At Lukla we will meet the porters who will carry our main luggage from place to place as we go. We will then start our trek for real as we head on towards the small village of Phakding which we will reach after a three and half-hour trek on a gradual downhill trail. Phakding nestles on the bank of beautiful Dudh Kosi River. Here we will stay overnight at a Local Lodge. ACCOMMODATIONLUNCH HOURSSIGNAL Day 03: Phakding to Namche Trek (5-6 hours).Walking through a beautiful pine forest, the track leads us along the Dudh Koshi River through many suspension bridges, one of which is the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. First, we catch wonderful prospect of the glistening Mt. Thamserku (6618 m). Through the settlement of Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo, we come to the check post and entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. We pass through the last village of Jorsale before reaching Namche Bazaar. The trail climbs through the forests and bridges until we reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a final steep ascent of about two hours we get first sight of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. Upon this juncture, we stop at Chautara to admire the view. We still need to hike about 1.5 hours to reach Namche Bazaar, a gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading centre of this region. We stay overnight in Namche Bazaar. ACCOMMODATIONLUNCH HOURSSIGNAL Day 04: Excursion Day To The Everest View Hotel (5-6 hours).On this day of the expedition, we will climb to the Everest View Hotel for a breathtaking view of Mount Everest and Ama Dablam. ACCOMMODATIONLUNCH HOURSSIGNAL Day 05: Trek Back- Namche To Lukla (6-7 hours).We either spend the day taking a day’s hike to Thame or visiting Khunde or relaxing and exploring Namche Bazaar itself. Namche Bazzar is the main centre of the Everest (Khumbu). If we trek a few hundred vertical feet during the day, it will help us to properly acclimatize. Our guides take us to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an assortment of things related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and learn about the various plant and animal life of the Everest region.We then return to Lukla from Namche. ACCOMMODATIONLUNCH HOURSSIGNAL Day 06: Lukla to Kathmandu (30 minutes).At 9,383ft (2,860m) above sea level our flight from Lukla Airport is a fantastic way to return to Kathmanduand and say goodbye to the Everest region. As we wait for our flight we will see aircraft taking off and landing on the uniquely sloping runway which ends with a precipitous drop into the valley below, fortunately the aircraft take to the air well before the end of the strip is reached. Once on board we have another chance to take a mid-air view of the scenery and the stunning mountains which surround us. From Kathmandu Airport we will be driven back to our hotel.The final part of our trip is yet to come tomorrow with a fascinating tour of the historic city of Kathmandu.At our hotel we can unwind and relax before we have a stroll around Thamel and return to our hotel for the night. ACCOMMODATIONLUNCH HOURSSIGNAL Day 07: Departure.It is sadly now time to say goodbye to Nepal so we will drive you to the airport in sufficient time (3 hours) to make your flight home and we will wish you a “bon voyage” but we sincerely hope to see you again in the not too distant future.
