Day 01 : Kathmandu Arrival

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Apoorva tours. You will be meeting your guide on the same day.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing (Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath and Swayambhunath Stupa)

Sightseeing starts from one of the most precious Hindu Temples in the world, the Pashupatinath Temple. After that our guide will take you to Bouddhanath Stupa one of the biggest in its kind. Lunch within the Bouddhanath area. Another destination of the day is Swayambhunath Stupa, widely known as Monkey Temple.

Day 03: Kathmandu Sightseeing (Bhaktapur and Patan Palace)

A short drive from Kathmandu to historical Bhaktapur palace area.The Medieval historical Bhaktapur was badly affected by the by the 2015 earthquake and has been subject to a major restoration but still retains some of its ancient ways of life and a unique appeal. The area is notable for its architecture and remarkable woodcarvings and metal craft. Devotees still celebrate their ancient festivals such as the Bisket Jatra ensuring that the temple squares retain their appeal, sanctity and dynamic. Bisket Jatra celebrates the start of the Nepali New Year and is one Kathmandu’s most colourful annual events.After lunch we will go on a sightseeing tour of the Sleeping Vishnu Temple which houses a magnificent stone image of the sleeping Vishnu resting on a bed of snakes. It is Nepal’s largest stone statue of the Lord Vishnu and dates back to the 5th century.

Day 04: Departure

It is sadly now time to say goodbye to Nepal so we will drive you to the airport in sufficient time (3 hours) to make your flight home and we will wish you a “bon voyage” but we sincerely hope to see you again in the not too distant future.
