Besides the more obvious landmarks there are far too many temples and places of interest to the list. We are therefore very keen to help you discover more than the normal tourist package. For many a trip to Nepal would be incomplete without delving deeper into the culture and lifestyle of Nepal.

Other options

But it’s not all about these architectural and cultural wonders!

You will have many opportunities to engage in a wide range of spiritual and sporting activities.  Mountains encompass the Kathmandu valley. These mountains have a vast and too often overlooked potential for adventure.

Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park was first national park in Nepal. The park was established in 1973 and granted  World Heritage status in 1984. Elephant back safari is the most popular and adventurous way to encounter the abundant wildlife in Chitwan . Species include rare one-horned rhinos and elusive Royal Bengal Tigers and also numerous of varieties of birds and reptiles. Additionally experienced Mahouts will guide you deep into the forest ensuring  the best possible close up sightings. Witnessing  such magnificent wildlife at close distance is sure to make your trip more enjoyable. Chitwan is, moreover, one of only two elephant-breeding centers that exist in the world.

Chitwan By Foot

The Jungle walks also provide an ideal opportunity to view wild animals at very close proximity. Bird Watching is always best on foot. Our specialists will help you spot and identify many different varieties of birds, both local and migratory. A slow canoe ride on the gentle rivers of the lower Nepal plains is rare and exotic experience. There are few places on earth that can equal the beauty and serenity of this trip.

Pokhara

Pokhora is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. It is famous for boating, trekking, rafting and extreme sports like rafting, canyoning and bungee jumping. The Pokhara Valley encompasses Pokhara city, parts of Sarangkot, Kaskikot and the Phewa Lake. Phewa lake is the second largest lake in Nepal. The reflection of Mount Macchapucchre (Fishtail) can be seen on this lake. Also from Phewa Lake you can witness the  two-storied temple of Barahi Bhagwati. This temple is located on an island in the middle of the lake.

Lumbini:

Gautam  Buddha also known as Siddhartha Gautam or Shakyamuni Buddha the founder of Buddhism and the light of  Asia. The Lord Buddha was born in Lumbini, Nepal in 623 BC. The sacred area of Lumbini is located in the Terai plains of southern Nepal. This is also further testified by the inscription on the pillar erected by the Mauryan Emperor Asoka in 249 BC. Lumbini is one of the holiest places of one of the world’s great religions. The remains at Lumbini  contain important evidence about the nature of Buddhism. Lumbini has additionally  been a focus for pilgrimage from as early as the 3rd century BC.
